Transport

Traffic and parking in Bristol is a nightmare; we strongly recommend accommodation with car parking, using taxis at the top and tail of the day, and hopping on our ‘magic bus’ service between the ceremony and reception.

If you're catching a train into Bristol, aim for Bristol Temple Meads, rather than Bristol Parkway, the Old Council House is just a short cab ride from the station (or even a brisk walk down Victoria Street, see map).

Taxis: we advise you to book in advance for the evening, here are some local firms
Crown Taxis: 01179 590 590; Streamline: 01179 264 001

If you do need to drive, we recommend using the NCP on Queen Charlotte Street (off Baldwin Street) for the ceremony and the car park at the bottom of Waters' Lane for the reception (see map).
