Essential Info

For parents; there will be a baby-changing room and separate kitchen for all your nursing needs. We will not be offended if baby gets a holiday with Gran and Grandpa, so that Mum and Dad can let their hair down. If children are present, we do ask that parents make sure that the importance of the ceremony can be enjoyed by all.

On arrival in central Bristol we suggest that guests congregate in All Bar One on Corn St (zoom in on 'A' on the map)– you might even spot a nervous looking groom.

We also advise that you grab a bite to eat – there are a selection of quality sandwich bars opposite the Old Council House – as the wedding dinner will not be served until the early evening.

At the reception there will be a cash bar available after dinner: there are no nearby ATMs, so come prepared.

Traffic and parking in Bristol is a nightmare; we strongly recommend accommodation with car parking, using taxis at the top and tail of the day, and hopping on our ‘magic bus’ service between the ceremony and reception. If you're wedded to your car, there are a few parking places in Westbury-on-Trym: a church car park at the bottom of Waters Lane/Westbury Hill (zoom in on 'A' on the map).

Just to remind you, the clocks will be ‘springing’ forward in the early hours of the Sunday.
